Balar Equipment was founded in 1985 and has become one of the premier truck and body equipment suppliers in Arizona and the Western United States. The company represents many of the leading brands of refuse equipment, water & sewer equipment, compactors and balers, hydraulic tools, street maintenance equipment, and other bodies.

We are located in north Phoenix just east of I -17 and just north of Peoria avenue. Our facilities include a complete five-bay service department, a 3000 sq. ft. parts warehouse, and an office complex on two acres.

Michael Neubauer is the General Manager for Baler Equipment. With only 5 1/2 years in the refuse industry, Michael leveraged his leadership, negotiating, supply chain management, and team-building skills developed over 15 years in the high-tech industry to make an impact at Preferred Truck and Equipment. There Michael led the sales team and assisted in the day-to-day operations for this Northern California and Western Nevada Heil dealer. Michael represented the West Coast on the Heil Dealer Council and was an associate member of the Resource Recovery Coalition of California. With the incredible support from his wife and 3 daughters, Michael looks forward to taking the Balar team to the next level.
